Sunrise at the Sand Dunes
Posted: February 23, 2015
On this morning the sky was turning a reddish hue against a blue sky at the Mesquite Sand Dunes. The sand dunes are approximately one mile form Stovepipe Wells village in Death Valley National Park, California. To get out to the these dunes took about thirty minutes of walking in loose sand up and down smaller dunes. I tried to get out far enough to get good shot of the larger dunes with the mountains in the background. The unfortunate part of this photo are the many footprints that were seen everywhere and all over there dunes.
